Wine Review: This golden straw colored Champagne opens with a Bartlett pear, golden apple, and brioche bouquet with a touch of rose petal. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is rich, clean, and elegant. It displays a brilliant combination of alluring citrus notes in the front, which are soon replaced by the yeast and toast, which this brand is known for, in the back. This Champagne’s acidity cuts through everything drying your mouth, and making it water for more. The only things keeping this wine from receiving a higher score is the finish, it is not nearly long enough. Enjoy – Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Pale gold in colour, it has great purity on the nose, laced with citrus, white blossom, lemon zest and mossy notes. Its creamy freshness is further emphasized by the textural delicacy of its mousse. Many occasions lend themselves to opening a bottle of Delamotte brut - a generous champagne, clean and elegant. This is a champagne made for tenderness and pleasure, an absolute must for the cellar of all those who celebrate life. Our wines should be served chilled but not cold (12°C) and the choice of glassware should resemble a small, elegant wine glass rather than a thin flute. Enjoy at any time of the day or night. We like it for aperitif, or with a light fruit dessert: poached pears or an apricot tart.
