Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Gamay from Regnie opens with an inviting earthy and musty black cherry, plum, and oak bouquet with hints of blackberry and black raspberry. The medium body is smooth, slightly dry, and soft with balanced tannins and acidity. The flavor profile is black cherry and plum blend with notes of strawberry and spice. The finish is pleasant and lingers. I would recommend pairing this Beaujolais with pasta carbonara. - Joe
