Wine Review: This very dark pink colored wine from Tavel opens with a fragrant and attractive ripe red raspberry bouquet with a hint of wild strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and well balanced. The flavor profile, like the nose, is a blend of wild strawberry and red raspberry with a nice amount of minerality woven in perfectly. I also detected some hints of Maraschino cherry and white pepper hiding in the background. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Rose is food friendly and would pair nicely with a pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Nose: Steady rose, brilliant and limpid. Aromas: Very complex with flowers, red and white fruits aromas. Palate: Rounded, full bodied with a long-lasting aniseed and fruity finish. Food Pairing: Cold meat and delicatessen, white meats, fried fish, pizzas and all Asian cuisine.
