Wine Review: This pale straw colored Grillo from Sicily opens with a flinty mild yellow grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. It also nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused tart and mild yellow grapefruit. I also detected a little lemon and a hint of almond. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this Grillo with grilled rainbow trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Brilliant straw yellow, on the nose SurSur 2015 offers notes of white flesh fruit, especially peach, combined with intriguing scents of wild flowers and cut grass. The palate is soft and fragrant and offers a perfect harmony between aroma and taste. It matches perfectly with seafood appetizers, vegetarian first courses and roast fish.
