Wine Review: This light salmon colored Rose from Dr. Frank is made from Pinot Noir. It opens with a fragrant and pleasant ripe cherry and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavors profile is a tangy clementine and strawberry blend with notes of spice and nicely integrated minerality. I also picked up hints of maraschino cherry in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild acidity linger nicely. The Rose is very refreshing and would be a very good option for a hot summer day. I would pair this Rose with steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Rose reveals delicate aromas of peach, berries and citrus and is accentuated by lovely mineral notes.
