Wine Review: This faint straw colored Eiswein from Dr. Loosen is Excellent. It opens with a fragrant and attractive apple and honey bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, viscous and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a delicious apple and pear blend with notes of honey and a hint of apricot. The finish is pleasantly sweet and drifts away nicely. This dessert wine went perfectly with your apple crisp. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Picked and pressed while the grapes are frozen, this vibrant, racy dessert wine conjures flavors of densely packed pear, apple and guava, with an intense, nervy edge in the aroma. It is luscious, silky and juicy on the palate, with bright acidity giving it a crisp, dynamic finish. Available in 375ml and 187ml bottles.
