Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Dutton Goldfield opens with a red raspberry and red plum bouquet with hints of bay leaf, sandalwood, black tea, and iris. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, soft, gentle, and fresh. The flavor profile is blackberry and red licorice with notes of strawberry and red plum. We also detected some hints of rhubarb, stone dust, green tea, cinnamon, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its well-managed fine tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with beef carpaccio or duck breast. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Lifted aromas in the nose lead with bright sweet black cherry framed in sandalwood and floral notes. The mouth is dense and vibrant with strawberry compote backed up with forest floor and a savory herbal note that adds complexity. Firm but fine tannins carry fruit and spice to a long finish.
