Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Elk Cove opens with a fragrant ginger ale, tangerine and Anjou pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused green apple and gentle apricot blend with notes of almond and chamomile tea. I also detected a hint of lemon towards the end. The finish shows nice length. This Pinot Gris is very versatile and will be a crowd pleaser. I would pair it with roasted chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Opens with green apple and papaya alongside breezy aromas of fresh meadow. This wine is exuberant on the palate with nectarine and melon, flourishes of lychee and a lingering pink-peppercorn finish.
