Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah opens with funky bouquet of wet concrete, black licorice, black raspberry, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, lively, and fresh. The flavor profile is black cherry and stony minerality blend with notes of toasted oak, loam, and black olive. We also detected hints of tea and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its bold tannins build-up stick around for quite a while. (decant) The Tasting Panel recommend decanting this Syrah before pairing it with steak fajitas or with slow cooked lamb shawarma. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense crimson color with beautiful purple reflections
Nose: The nose is open and expressive. It reveals some notes of black cherry and of cooked blackberries mixed with flavors of spices such as pepper and nutmeg. Some floral notes of violet bring finesse and elegance.
Palate: The palate is supple marked by a full and silky substance. A subtle freshness balances the fullness of the wine. Its structure is based on a dense and velvety tannic structure. The finish is fresh characterized by notes of menthol.
Good with: Duck breast cooked on the skin or with roast beef cooked in a puff pastry served with a few mushrooms and spinach.
Laying down : This wine can be drunk now if decanted 2 hours before serving It also can be kept for a good 10 years.
