Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Emmolo opens with a lemon-lime bouquet with a faint hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, rounded and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a saline and Anjou pear blend with notes of green apple and chalky minerality. I also detected some hints of light lime and green tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This crowd-pleasing Sauvignon Blanc will be liked by many. I would quaff it down with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
