Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from J. Christopher in Oregon opens with a very fragrant pineapple and apricot bouquet with hints of lime zest, honeysuckle, and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, super smooth, and viscous. The flavor profile is a very tasty peach tea and lime with notes of apricot, honeydew, and tangerine. We also detected hints of fruit cocktail juice. The finish has a pleasant sweetness that drifts away nicely. We would pair this very nice Riesling with stone crab cocktail or with macaroon cookies. Enjoy – Ken
