Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a mild cola and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and graceful. The flavor profile is a mild plum and black cherry blend with a gentle streak of minerality throughout. I also detected a touch of old oak as well. The finish is dry and this wine fades away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and it would pair perfectly with a pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2009 J Vineyards Robert Thomas Vineyard Pinot Noir features rose petal, violet, and subtle vanilla toasty aromas. Earthy, ripe strawberry, cherry, and nuances of cranberry fill your mouth with silkiness balanced by a nice acidity. The fruit is gracefully layered with medium tannins that carry through to a lengthy finish lush with caramel and vanilla. The Robert Thomas Vineyard Pinot Noir pairs well with broiled stuffed mushrooms, loaded with red peppers and crab meat, or braised lamb shanks that have been basting in this wine.
