Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from J Vineyards opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a black cherry and oak blend with notes of black pepper. I also detected hints of plum. The finish is dry and its flavors linger of a while. This a Pinot that needs food. I would pair it with Italian beef braciole. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2015 J Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is smooth and luscious, opening with notes of dark cherry, bramble and spice. On the palate, this Pinot Noir is expansive with flavors of raspberry, pomegranate and cola with a hint of toast. Round, soft tannins lead to a silky, lingering finish.
