Wine Review: This almost clear colored Pinot Gris from J. Vineyards opens with a crushed seashell and almond bouquet with a hint of white peach and vanilla wafer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The mouthfeel is round, viscous and a touch off-dry. The flavor profile is crushed stone and cantaloupe blend with notes of white peach. We also detected hints of white pepper, and nectarine. The finish is off-dry and its flavors linger and lasted for a while. The Panel would pair this Pinot Gris with sautéed shrimp in a lemon and garlic cream sauce, Kung pow chicken, and white pizza with prosciutto. Enjoy – KWGTP
