Wine Review: This pitch-black SGM from Barossa is very good. It opens with a unique leather football like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe blackberry jam with notes of gentle oak and a hint of blackberry, black pepper and black plum. The finish is dry and its juicy flavors are very extended. This SGM is very impressive. I would enjoy it with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese by the fireplace this winter. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A true reflection of Barossa's soil and climate, the aromas combine red and dark fruits with savory spicy notes. The palate is generous with good intensity of bright, plush blackberry fruit and fruit cake notes held together by its appealing texture and soft tannin backbone.
