Wine Review: This very enjoyable Torrontés from Salta, Argentina is a medium straw color. The bouquet has abundant florals of honeysuckle, rose petals and jasmine, along with Bartlett pear, chalk dust and lemon. It is balanced, dry and round on the palate, with a nice textured mouthfeel, medium body and medium plus acidity. There are flavors of saline, pineapple, apricot, lime and tangerine and white tea. Smooth, lingering finish with some light minerality. Serve slightly chilled with coconut curry shrimp with jasmine rice. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: This 100% Torrontés from Kaiken, is an attractive golden color with tints of green. The elegant nose has medium aromatic intensity with clear white flower and citrus notes. The wine is fresh on the palate, with balanced acidity and a long, pleasing finish.
