Wine Review: This wine blows me away every year. I just love this wine. It is pitch black colored and opens with a pleasant and very inviting cassis bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely well balanced, and has an impressive mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a wonderful black cherry with notes of oak and chocolate nicely melded in. The finish is dry and its very fine moderate tannins are rather lengthy and nicely prolonged. I enjoyed this wine over the course of 2 days. It was irresistible the whole time. Get your hands on a bottle or two and enjoy it with a filet mignon sometime over the next several years. Cheers - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Inky-dark purple color. Deeply aromatic, blue and black fruit, with a hint of cedar and spice. Well extracted, richly layered, with chewy tannins and a luscious long finish.
