It is dark ruby colored and opens with black cherry, red beet and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a smoky oak infused strawberry with a hint of mild black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild old oak tannins linger for a little bit. This wine would pair well with beef bourguignon.
