On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and super silky. The flavor is an extracted lush blackberry with notes of black licorice and black pepper. The finish is rather dry and its pronounced tannins are very very lengthy. This wine would pair well with a grilled cowboy ribeye.
