On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild boysenberry with notes of blueberry and a touch of mild oak and blackberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested that this tasty Syrah would pair well with a prime rib.
