Wine Review: If you are looking for something a little different in a white wine, you might want to give Black Bart's Bride a try. This well made white wine is mostly made from the Rhone grapes; Marsanne and Viognier. It is a brilliant yellow color and opens with a mild pear like bouquet with a hint of kiwi. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, creamy, and very viscous. The flavor profile is a nutty apricot with notes of minerality throughout. There was a touch of toasted oak and vanilla spice detected as well. The finish is dry, tingly, and its minerality persists. I would pair this wine with a roasted garlic chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pale straw, brilliant clarity; Focused, intense floral nose, honey suckle, orange blossom, almond kernels, fennel, caramelized pear, lemon and freshly harvested honeycomb. The palate is complex and focused, flavors of lemon pie, pie crust, and minerality lead to a succulent and creamy textural wine. Enjoy with natural oysters, Scallops in creamy white wine sauce with saffron, Macadamia nut-crusted Opakapaka with lemongrass butter sauce. Drink now through 2013.

Champagne for breakfast and a Sherman in my hand. Peached up, Peached Ale, never fails. Must have been a dream I don't believe where I've been. Come on, let's do it again. Do you...you, feel like I do?
