Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley in Washington opens with a black currant and blackberry bouquet with a hint of cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is graphite and mild black currant blend with notes of black plum and black coffee. I also detected hints of cedar and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and is rounded dusty tannins build up and stick around for quite some time. I would decant this Cab before serving it with a juicy bacon cheeseburger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: With its classic Cabernet profile, this expressive wine shows layers of dark fruits, cocoa nib, graphite, and espresso accented by an array of floral notes including lilac and lavender. With blackberry, dark cherry, and cassis on the palate, it is framed with fine tannins which carry through to a flavorful finish.
