Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills opens with a mild blueberry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black raspberry with notes of black plum. I also detected hints of boysenberry and mild oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with grilled pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken (6/24/14 - Covered again July 2015 - same score)
