Wine Review: This bright red colored unoaked Cabernet Franc from the Finger Lakes is impressive and was one of my new discoveries at the Wine Bloggers Conference! It opens with a fresh and ripe strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry and watermelon blend with notes of blueberry. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This Cabernet Franc is a very nice summer red. It would pair very well with grilled tuna. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This expressive red is aged in neutral vessels, reminiscent of the Loire Valley style, resulting in a smooth, fruit-forward wine of a stunning ruby color with aromas of dried cherry and tobacco and a palate of ripe elderberries and black currants.
