Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Shiraz from the Margaret River is on the milder side of all Aussie Shiraz's. It opens with a pleasant vanilla and black cherry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a gentle red cherry with hints of light raspberry and strawberry rhubarb. The finish is dry and its light tannins are slightly prolonged. This easy going and tasty Shiraz would go well with a barbecue chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The colour is ruby red with brilliant purple edges. The bouquet displays lively fresh berries, spicy cloves, strong pepper tones, with complexing earthy ground chocolate lifting the intensity. The palate is medium bodied with mouth watering juiciness from the sweet fruit which displays flavours of raspberry jellies and plum with a subtle smoky fruit spice. The fine soft fruit provides a frame for the penetrating flavours that run along the palate and expanding at the back of the mouth.
