Wine Review: This purple-colored red blend from Leviathan opens with a very fragrant brambleberry bouquet with hints of craisin, dark chocolate, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a graphite, mild black plum and oak blend with notes of mocha and mulberry. We also detected a hint of tobacco. The finish is dry and dusty fine tannins build-up and stick around for quite some time. We would pair this red blend with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Leviathan reveals distinct aromas of blackberry bramble, black cherry, and chaparral. Savory spices and star anise meld with mineral, graphite, bay, and laurel reflective of our rocky Northern California terrain. With finely structured tannins, this wine is silky and elegant-yet persistent. It is approachable now and built to cellar for 10-plus years.
