Wine Review: I have been quite impressed with the 2007 Reds from the Finger Lakes. Add this Cab Franc from Lucas to the list of well done red wines from the region. It is dark ruby colored and opens with very fragrant and attractive wintergreen bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and displays a pleasant and soft mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a tasty red currant and black raspberry blend. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky, yet reasonable. Pair this wine with grilled steak tips smothered with Sweet Baby Rays barbecue sauce. Enjoy - Ken
