Wine Review: This expressive and fresh Pinot Noir from Sonoma is a clear medium purple color, with a vibrant nose of spiced black raspberry, smoke, and lilac, with notes of black cherry, shoe leather and dried leaves. Really polished on the palate, it's balanced, smooth, medium bodied with integrated moderate acidity, plenty of ripe fruit but still delicate style. Flavors of black raspberry, pomegranate, black pepper, floral notes, milk chocolate, chalky minerality and fresh herbs. Integrated, firm, fine-grained tannins, in a generous, dry, long finish. Pair with rack of lamb. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: An intense dark plum color foreshadows the depth and complexity of this wine, with loads of black cherry, blackberry, and potpourri aromas making a magnificent first impression. On the palate, the taste and texture do not disappoint. Rich tannins and earthy flavors of dried tobacco and cocoa combine with robust dark berry flavors to create an exotic and intriguing Pinot Noir.
