Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Maggy Hawk opens with a fragrant red raspberry bouquet with notes of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild flinty mineral influenced black plum. I also detected notes of black pepper and a little strawberry and oak towards the end. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors fade away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with smoked salmon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Expressive, silky, and refined. Jolie is an elegantly transparent Pinot Noir. The wine opens with light-footed red fruit and rhubarb, then blooms into bright raspberry, strawberry and floral notes. A perfectly balanced acidity accompanies the delicate fruit notes across the palate and into a soft finish.
