Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina opens with a blackberry, black currant, and black licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with nicely integrated acidity. It is nicely balanced, round, and smooth. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black licorice blend with notes of stony minerality and oak. I also detected hints of black currant and prune towards the end. The finish is dry, and its shockingly big tannins stick around for a very long time. This wine, while ready to go, can easily last a lot longer. I would decant this wine in the near term and serve it with Brazilian steakhouse picanha. Enjoy - Ken
