Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a green pepper, gun flint and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a green pepper and grapefruit blend with notes of mild minerality. I also detected hints of lime and tangerine. The finish is dry, refreshing and its flavors fade away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair nicely with food. I would pair it with a swordfish smothered with a shrimp and mushroom risotto. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas: Intense green and yellow pear, Asian pear, white grapefruit, Thai basil, lime, intriguing notes of lychee and fig leaves, with hints of a very attractive lemon blossom.
