Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from McPrice Myers opens with a bold black currant and craisin bouquet with hints of red licorice and violets. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is black currant and oak blend with notes of licorice and crushed stone. We also detected hints of nutmeg and blackberry. The finish is dry, and its tannins build up and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab before pairing it with braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
