Wine Review: This pale straw colored sparkler with very fine bubbles opens with a mild lemon and wet stone bouquet with hints of bread toast and faint grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, pleasantly acidic, elegant and fresh. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tangerine with notes of bread dough. We also detected hints of grapefruit, Granny Smith apples, and lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. The panel suggested pairing this very nice sparkler with broiled scallops, cherrystones, or lobster bisque. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The rich and complex aromas are accentuated by the natural ripeness of our grapes, with hints of red apple, Bing cherries, plums, raspberry, and white peach, as well as spicy tones of nutmeg and vanilla. On the palate, it is an explosion of rich flavors, with layers of fresh fig, cherry, orange, and vanilla beans, underlined by a refreshing acidity. The lasting finish is dominated by creamy, yeasty characters of biscuit, toast and roasted nuts. Perfect on its own as an evening starter, it will also be a lovely match for a wide selection of foods, from creamy cheeses to lobster, poultry, and roasted pork.
