This very dark purple colored wine opens with a mild blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious ripe blackberry and boysenberry with hints of black licorice and black pepper. The finish is rather dry and its noticeable big tannins are lengthy and sticky. This wine will do well long term and will age well in your cellar. However, if you can’t resist, pair it with a big thick ribeye at your favorite steak house. Enjoy - Ken Winemaker Notes: This wine is extremely dark and layered. Blackberry and cassis are mixed with notes of cigar, tar, and earth. The warm, toast from the oak complements the wine's depth of flavor and adds an interesting spice. Bold and concentrated, the velvety thickness and weight carries on to a long, supple finish.
