Wine Review: This dark ruby colored is Merlot from New Zealand is a good value wine to consider for everyday consumption. It opens with a mild oak and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and easy to drink. The flavors profile is a gentle black plum with a touch of oak and hint of black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well managed and friendly. This Merlot is a very nice glass pour or wedding option. I would enjoy it with juicy Angus burger sliders. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fragrant violet, fresh blackberry and plum with soft alluring spice. Essentially Oyster Bay Merlot is about elegance and intensity of fruit. The hero is always freshness of ripe fruit, spice and soft tannins on the palate.
