Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored Cab from Paul Hobbs is very attractive. It opens with a boysenberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and concentrated. Yet, it is also approachable and elegant. The flavor profile is a complex blend of rich black cherry and blackberry. There were hints of black currant and black licorice detected as well. The finish is rather dry and its noticeable tannins linger for quite sometime. This Cab would pair nicely with a NY strip steak off the grill. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon derives substantial depth and breadth of character from the diverse terroirs represented by its superb source vineyards. Dense garnet color accompanies an alluring nose, abundant with cassis, white pepper, and tobacco leaf. Concentrated flavors of blackberry, graphite, and bittersweet cocoa explode over a velvety palate, interweaving with ripe, supple, well-integrated tannins and notes of cedar and toast to create a memorable finish.
