Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec from Peachy Canyon returns to glory with this vintage. It was one of our top Malbec's in our recent mini-blind tasting. It opens with an inviting black licorice bouquet with a hint of spice cake. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and special. The flavor profile is a delicious plum with nicely integrated black currant, blackberry, and black licorice. The panel also detected a hint of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this terrific wine with a veal chop or veal milanese. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The nose of this Malbec showcases blueberries and dark chocolate, along with hints of honeycomb and chaparral. Its dark, rich palate provides flavors of cola, boysenberry, cumin, and mocha, all of which are elevated by minerality throughout. The soft, integrated tannins result in a silken mouthfeel.
