Wine Review: If you are on a budget and prefer a pleasant and easy to drink Good glass of white wine for everyday consumption, you might want to check out The Big Green Box Pinot Grigio. It is light gold colored and opens with a mild apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild green pear. The finish is dry and subtle. So if you are looking for an affordable and complimentary wine to go with white fish or other light foods, this could be your answer. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Crisp citrus drives this light straw-colored Pinot Grigio, beginning with hints of tangerine and pear on the nose and carrying through the palate with bright, tart apple and hints of meyer lemon. While our Italian Pinot Grigio was even leaner and focused more on minerality, our California Pinot Grigio has an undercurrent of limestone that melds nicely with the zesty citrus flavors. Picked towards the end of beginning of harvest, the relatively low sugar levels at harvest time give this wine its light crisp body and nice integrated acidity.
