Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from the Testa Vineyard opens with a musty blackberry and wild strawberry bouquet with hints of red licorice and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is dried strawberry and black cherry blend with notes of black tea. We also detected some hints of mocha and dried herbs mixed in. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this red blend with a juicy bistro burger or a lamb stew. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Opening with aromas of ripe black cherry, damp earth, and hints of rose petal that carry over to the mouth and harmoniously mesh with flavors of blackberry, pomegranate, dried leaves, and a hint of sweet spice. The palate is plush and powerful, yet balanced by well-integrated tannins and ample amounts of natural acidity.
