Wine Review: This autumn brown colored "20-Year-Old Tawny Port" from Quinta de la Rosa is very good. It opens with a molasses and pecan bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty candied pecan and rum cake blend with hints of fig, plum and raisin. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This "20-Year-Old Tawny" is dry and very drinkable. Our mini-tasting group liked it a lot. We would pair it with a pecan pie. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The beautiful golden color is a good indication of the age of this excellent tawny port. With a great richness and aromatic complexity, notably of almond and spices, this wine has a seductive texture with dry fruits and liqueur flavors. Tawny ports can be drunk chilled as an aperitif or at the end of the meal either on their own or with dessert or cheese.
