Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Quintessa opens with a white grapefruit and white peach bouquet with hints of honeysuckle, ginger, and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tart grapefruit and ginger tea blend with notes of stony minerality and lychee. We also detected some hints of yellow peach and lime zest. The finish is dry and very refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a grilled swordfish steak or with broiled bay scallops with a lime drizzle. Enjoy – KWGTP
