Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Ramey opens up with a vegetal and mild black currant bouquet with hints of tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very mild mineral infused black currant with hints of Dr. Pepper, black olive, and cedar. The finish is dry and its fine tannins linger and show some length. The panel thought this wine could have been a wine from Bordeaux. They would pair it with filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
