On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a slightly tart black raspberry and black currant blend. There is also a bit of oak mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its noticeable tannins are dusty and linger for a while. I felt this Zin was a good bargain and would be a fine match for pulled pork.
