Wine Review: So as the saying goes, “Everyone loves Raymond”..or at least this one. That was the feedback I received from our mini-group that tried this wine. It is a very dark ruby colored Cab that opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet with a hint of black currant and peppermint in the background. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious black cherry with notes of plum. There is also a touch of anise and oak mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its oak tannins are fine and very nicely prolonged. This elegant Cab would be a perfect match in the near term with a filet mignon. I could drink this wine all night long. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep garnet in color with rich aromas of black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, boysenberry and chocolate with hints of pepper and earth followed by concentrated black cherry, blueberry, black plum, black pepper and dark chocolate flavors. Well structured with integrated tannins and a silky smooth finish touched with luscious vanilla. Generations pairs well with filet mignon, rib eye, rosemary crusted prime rib, braised rabbit, rack of lamb or roasted pheasant with au gratin potatoes.
