Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Red Newt opens with a matchstick bouquet that does flash off before some hints of white peach and green apple appear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a crushed stone, pineapple, and green tea blend with notes celery, lime, and green apple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely.
