Wine Review: This midnight purple colored red blend opens with a blackberry and cola bouquet with hints of mulled mint. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is tasty blackberry pie and blueberry blend with notes of mint and black raspberry. I also detected hints of dark chocolate and licorice. The finish is dry and its flavors and drying tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. This wine should be enjoyed on its own over the next couple of years. I would also decant it for a little bit. Cheers – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our new “Red Wine of the World,” this red blend is sourced from famed regions of southern Australia, the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. A deep, regal magenta, this wine features layered scents of dark, ripe fruit overlaid with vibrant notes of strawberry and raspberry. Leather, black pepper, vanilla cream and mint add further complexity on the nose. The palate starts off round, then tannins build before the freshness of strawberries creates a lively smoothness. On the finish: the rich character of baking chocolate, cherry, and toasty wood.
