Wine Review: This light yellow colored Spatlese level Riesling opens with apple and mango like bouquet with wet stone scents mixed in as well. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very lively and displays lots of sweetness and acidity. It is rich and concentrated as well. The flavor profile is a ripe pear with notes of tangerine and mango. It flavors linger slightly on the finish. This Riesling would pair well with sliced green apples and assorted sharp cheeses. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Golden color Aroma: Ripe fruit, peaches and apricot, solid, clean and good balance with the notes characteristic of a perfect Riesling. Taste: Great structure with a little lime and citrus. Prominent mineral notes from the gray slate and outstanding vineyard site. Serving Suggestions: Perfect to enjoy as an aperitif or in combination with blue cheeses, or creamy cheeses like fresh goat cheese. An excellent match for pate, and Asian cuisine.

Organic status: not organic
