Wine Review: This dark red colored Barbera from Seghesio opens with a mild blackberry and blueberry bouquet with hints of espresso and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry pie and plum blend with notes of dark chocolate, black cherry and minerality. The finish is dry and its ripe fruits are nicely prolonged. This Barbera would pair well with seared duck breast with cherries and port sauce. Enjoy - Ken
