Wine Review: This opaque and India ink colored Petite Sirah is quite friendly for the grape. It opens with a ripe blackberry bouquet with a hint of mild oak. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with notes of black licorice. The finish is dry and its dusty and chewy tannins are rather sticky and show some length. This Petite Sirah is smooth on the palate and big on the finish. Pair it with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple Aroma: Creamy vanilla oak, blueberry, tobacco Flavor: Blueberry pie, cedar spice, boysenberry Texture: Rich, well balanced, bold lingering finish
