Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon from Sinegal opens with a cut grass and gooseberry bouquet with hints of grapefruit pith. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel bright, lively, and fresh. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit and gooseberry blend with notes of lime and saline. I also detected hints of white pepper and Meyer lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite a while. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken
